We have eight varieties each with different blossoming schedules so that berries will be available for several weeks into the summer. A few years ago, the head chef at a prominent resort on Upper Saranac Lake remarked that these were the best tasting strawberries he ever ate--as he was eating them straight from the carton. We wonder if any of his guests got to try them?
Come and taste and pick your favorite strawberries. We have varieties that start early such as Cavendish, Darselect, and Honeoye. We have mid to late season varieties of Jewel, Cabot, and Sparkle. Our late season varieties are Idea and Record.
