FARM TOURS
REGULAR FARM TOUR
-
Farm tours are available on the hour when The Great Adirondack Corn Maze is in operation (daylight hours only). These tours are suitable for all interested parties from children to adults and groups large and small.
-
$5 for adults and $3 for those less than 14 years of age, i.e. 13 years and younger. This tour takes about one hour and encompasses a wide portion of the farm--the part with the best views. Those with groups larger than 15 persons are encouraged to call ahead to make special arrangements for the tour.
PUMPKIN PATCH TOUR (mid-late September through October)
-
This is a special tour, direct to the pumpkin patch from the corn maze and back, taking only 30 minutes or so. Cost is $3, or $5, or $7 per person depending upon the size of the pumpkin selected. Tour guide gets to decide the price, depending on what you choose. We ask that you question the tour guide what price level you fall into. Everyone on this tour is guaranteed one pumpkin or squash or gourds of his own selection from the field.
LARGE GROUPS AND SPECIAL TOURS MUST BE ARRANGED IN ADVANCE

Special farm tour/corn maze combination packages are available for groups and on unspecified dates. Call for rates and to schedule an appointment.
-
Large groups, those comprising 10 to 15 adult persons, should call ahead to make an appointment so we can accommodate them.
-
Great educational opportunities - let us know your focus and interests - Tucker Farms has been hosting farm tours for school children since about 1970. Not surprisingly, we have been hosting tours for many years now for the children of those early children. We are not certain but it is certainly possible that grandchildren may start showing up if they haven't already. Needless to say, it has become a tradition for several local schools. Teachers have been able to work up learning modules for this tour, even the youngest children make up posters and painting about what they saw and write notes to us about what they learned.
-
See photos in Gallery - For several years, by special arrangement, elementary school groups have been coming to Tucker Farms in the spring to plant pumpkins and return in the fall to see the results. Their teachers have developed curricula to go along with these 'field trips'.
